Free Nutrition Course at Sikh Institute (Room# 2)

ਸਿੱਖ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ (Nutrition) ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਅੱਠ (8) ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਕਲਾਸਾਂ 19 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2024 ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਕਮਰਾ ਨੰਬਰ 2 ਵਿੱਚ, ਹਰ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 7:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਹਰ ਕਲਾਸ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਵਾਦਕ (Translator) ਸਾਈਟ ‘ਤੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Free nutrition classes will be offered at the Sikh Institute on Fridays starting on January 19, 2024. Classes will be held in Room# 2 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. A Punjabi language translator will be available on-site for every class.
The curriculum is developed jointly by Colorado State University and the University of California. It is a research-based curriculum based on the 2010 Dietary Guidelines, designed for paraprofessional nutrition educators to assist limited-resource families with young children to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Lesson 8: Make a Change | Families limit foods high in fat, sugar, and salt |
