Library

Located on the third floor of the Sikh Institute of Fresno, the library is a key component in the education learning environment offered by the institute. In addition to the 8 classrooms and meeting rooms, the library provides a quiet place for all community members to study, learn, and reflect on their educational pursuits. The library has resources in the form of books, periodicals, and audiotapes to provide information regarding Sikh history, American history, and health education.

In addition to literature and a quiet place to study, the library offers photocopying and internet access for the community. For students, English translation and test proctoring services are available as well. Parking is available on the Parkway Drive side of the institute. Community members from the greater Fresno area are welcome to utilize the library, or contact the library for any information needed.

The library can arrange special tours and programs for local college classes or community members interested in visiting the institute to learn about the culture of the Sikh Community. Local professors are encouraged to contact the librarian to organize a visit to the institute for their class.
